Q: How much can a 1971 Dodge Charger sell for?
I currently have a 1971 Dodge Charger 383 automatic. It has 80-90K original miles on it. Still in good running cond. Some rust spots and some dullness in paint. What starting price should I list the car for?
A: about 10-15 thousand right now,the reason it will sell good is that its in running condition,most of those you find are basically basket cases,and need fully restored,i seen one go off e-bay and it brought 8 thousand and it didn't even run,but it was all there,id start out asking at least 14-15 for it and that gives you room to lower the price for a guaranteed sale on it,there's plenty of people looking for those right now so selling it wont be a problem,good luck with it.

I'm looking for a kit, or some instructions on how to hook my iPod up to my Dodge Charger's radio. I don't want to use an FM Transmitter because they never work well enough, with a clear signal. I have a 2006 Charger with the 6-CD Navigation System, does anyone know how I can do this??
A: Unless your Dodge has an AUX input, there's no other way to hook up your ipod. I do agree with you on the FM Transmitter problem. I have one and it works okay, but you can kinda hear static in the background, maybe if you get a stronger FM Transmitter, you won't have that problem.

Q: What kind of discount would a Chrysler employee get for a Dodge Charger with a MSRP of $31000?
I'm looking at a getting a Dodge Charger and my neighbor has offered in the past that I could use his friends and family discount. I was wondering if it was worth it or if I could get a better price by negotiating.
A: I just bought an 08 Chrysler Pacifica on what is called an affiliate program. The affiliate pricing, which is what it sounds like your neighbor can get for you, is Invoice minus 1% plus incentives. Unless you're one heck of a negotiator, I doubt you can get much better than this. In the case of my Pacifica, I paid invoice less about $300 and got the 0% financing or 72 months, (instead of the optional $2000 rebate) which saved me about $7400. The Pacifica was NOT on their sale list, so there were no further incentives, however, had I got the 300C instead, I could have gotten both the rebate and the 0%.
Make sure you know of the factory incentives prior to going in.
I think it is either Kelly Blue Book (www.kbb.com) or Edmunds (www.edmunds.com) that shows you the "average selling price" which is the average negoiated price for the vehicle.
Q: Does anyone have any trouble getting comfortable in the 07 Dodge Charger?
I recently bought a new 07 Dodge Charger and love the ride it gives. The only problem is I can't get comfortable in the seat, its either my feet feel wrong or my grip on the wheel. I think the problem is I am so use to driving the P71 Crown Victoria that I am trying to get the same feel in the charger. the question I am asking is has anyone else had the same problem with there Dodge Charger. If there any police officer having the same problem like to hear from you.

A: I have a 06 daytona and as you know the seats are different (they have the suede comfort seating), but my buddy has a regular charger r/t and he complains about the seats all the time. He's considering trying to find the seats that come in the daytona and SRT(i believe), to put into his. It truly is a world of difference. Good luck to you. Chargers rock!

A: From the historical/collector standpoint, the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona is clearly the Charger standout. This car is one of two (the similar 1970 Plymouth Superbird was the other) undisguised Chrysler Corporation successful attempts to dominate NASCAR (stock car racing). This car is clearly identifiable by its long, pointed nose cone and the very tall wing at the back. With a production of 503, one of these rare cars easily brings 6 figures. Manual transmission cars and/or those equipped with the 426 Hemi engine are one of the ultimate Mopar cars from the classic muscle car era.

I have 2007 base model dodge charger and the tail light fuses keep burning out, I have to go on a long car ride tonight and it's not safe! I know where the fuse panel is (under the hood) but what fuse do I change?
The car dealership says I have past front end damage that's causing the wires to blow fuses, they had to change fuses 2 times and it lasts for about a day
A: I know my first suggestion won't help with tonight's drive, but it will save you a lot of hassle in the long run to get the electrical problem fixed entirely. Did you buy the car this way?
Anyway, I found your owner's/service manual on the Dodge website. It looks like your blown fuse might be in cavity 19. It is a 10 amp red fuse. Pull this one out of the box, using tweezers or pliers if needed. If the metal link inside the fuse is separated, that means it's blown. Put a new 10 amp red fuse in there, close the box properly, and you're set to go.
If that fuse *isn't* blown, you'll have to check other ones till you find the one that is blown. Your manual says that cavity 29 also supplies power to your stop lights. It uses a 5 amp orange fuse.
By the way -- I didn't see "tail lights" listed in the fuse chart. All I saw was "stop lights", so that's where I'm getting the information.
