Q: How much would an 03 Dodge Neon sell for at an auction?
My car recently got repo'ed and they said that when my car sells at the auction, then I'll owe the diffrence or if they make more than what I owe, I"ll get extra but I am thinking I'll owe. On average how much would a 2003 Dodge Neon SE with 125k miles sell for at an auction. There is a ding in the door but I'm guessing they'll fix that before taking it to the auction. I currently owe $6600

A: One of the largest vehicle auction services in the US is Manheim. They have a service called Manheim market report (MMR) that shows the most recent auction activity for every year manke and model that has come through their auction For the week ending Feb 1, they sold 82 Dodge Neon SE's. The low number is $1074. The average is 2147. However, that is for cars with an average of 90k miles - you are 30% over that. For cars with that mileage, the selling price has been $1000-1265. Throwing out the oddball that went for $370. So - you should expect in that neighborhood - $1000-1265. Good luck

Q: Whats the biggest size wheel that will fit a Dodge Neon?
I have a Dodge Neon, and i want to buy a larger wheel. I found some online at a GREAT price, but i want to make sure they will fit. They are 19" ADR Silver 4x100 universal wheels. I don't know if they have the same lug pattern, or if the "universal" means they will fit almost any type of car.

A: First, what model year Neon do you have? 4x100 will only fit on a 95 Neon that was 4 lug. 5 lug Neons have a 5x100 bolt pattern (1995-2005). Second, 19" is pushing it. 1st Gen Neons (95-99) can barely get away with 18". 2nd Gen Neons (00-05) can go larger, but not much. Third, with a wheel that's so big on a car designed for 14" and 15" wheels, you'll need a very low profile tire and may not even exist. I am looking for things like headers, turbo charger, crome dress up kits, and other parts for the motor and the body. thanks so much for your help.

Q: How do you fix a leaky brake line on a 1996 Dodge Neon.?
I need to know how to fix a leaky brake line on a 1996 dodge neon. My brake light is on and my brake fluid seems to be spraying out every time I pump my brakes on the passengers side. My brake pedal also goes all the way to floor, it's the only way I can stop.

A: take it to a mechanic and have them replace it and bleed the system out the right way,if you want good brakes that would be a real good idea, good luck.

Q: What are the monthly payments for a 1990 Dodge Neon?
i'm doing a project for school, and i was wondering what the monthly payments were for a 1990 Dodge Neon.

A: Nice try, they didn't make the neon in 1990.

Q: What would cause a 2002 Dodge Neon to rev high in park?
I have a 2002 Dodge Neon automatic and the problem I have is when I start the car it revs very high and when I place it in drive it accelerates rapidly without depressing the gas pedal.

A: have the computer scanned on it ,a bad throttle position sensor will make one rev real high like that or a stuck throttle cable,if its the cable you can free it fairly easy, if its a throttle position sensor it too can be replaced ,having it scanned may reveal whats making it do this, good luck with it.

Q: How do I remove a Dodge Neon Stereo?
My GF has a 97 Dodge Neon and I dont know how to remove the thing.Could anyone help?

A: remove the face plate off of it,that piece of trim just pops off,but make sure there is no screws in it then there's 4 bolts behind that and when you remove them the stereo will slide out, then you un hook it and that's it,those are real easy to get the radio out of,take your time with the trim though and dont break it,good luck.

Q: What can I use instead of a visor clip in my Dodge Neon?
I bought a 2003 Dodge Neon a couple of weeks ago. The visor clip was broken and I didn't think about having the car dealership put in a new one before the sale so I'm stuck repairing it myself. (The visor clip is the hook that holds the visor when you want it in front instead of on the side) I've been researching online and it seems that the neon visor clips break very easily. Can anyone think of something else I can use other than the "Official clip" to hold the visor. I'm never going to sell this car, so I don't have to worry about resell value. Is anyone creative and can come with an alternate hook-thingy? Thanks

A: Thoes clips break easly on everything with a plastic clip. My Ranger, Mothers Caravan, Fathers Dakota, best friends Jeep and Toyota. They've all broke before, and a quick trip to the dealer (dealer only item), and a few bucks later, it was back and working. My truck's lasted nearly 19 years on the original clips, My fatheres truck lasted about 2 weeks before it broke. He's had the truck for about 10 years since, and no problems with it. Thier a cheap part, easly replacable, and unless you put any amount of weight or force on it, it shouldn't brake.

Q: Which is better a Chrysler LX with a V6 engine and it is a atomatic or a dodge neon with a stage 2 Mopar turbo
The 1998 Chrysler Sebring LXI is stock an like i said it is manual and has a v6 engine. The 2004 dodge neon has a stage 2 Mopar turbo, fiberglass fenders, fiberglass body kit, carbon fiber hood and the car is manual. Which do you think would be better in speed, acceleration, and horse power?

A: For once I agree with C7S, the neon is faster. Chances are its a SRT -4.

Q: how to fix squealing on a 2001 dodge neon?
2001 Dodge Neon is making a squeeling noise, it is not the belt, I think that it is the idle wheel that is next to it. Does any one know how much this would cost to replace and would I need to replace the whole outer casing.

A: Hi Its been my experience that the idle wheel does not make a squealing noise It will make a grinding or a rattling noise ..you can check the idle wheel by removing the belt and see if the pulley wobbles or is hard to turn maybe try a belt dressing that eliminates the belt from slipping resulting in a squealing noise you can try a product from stp called belt ease or a similar product maybe try that. It is cheaper than replacing a idle wheel Steve

Q: 96 Dodge Neon. What is this knocking sound coming from the engine?
i have a 96 dodge neon and i was wondering what the knocking is in my engine. i mean it runs fine and everything but its pretty loud and when i pull in between 2 other cars it echos off and is real loud. i was told by a few people it was rocker arms sticking because thats what dodges do. i really dont know what it is so any answers will be helpfull.

A: Here's the deal. Knocking sounds are generally metal-on-metal contact. If it happens when you are moving, it could be something to do with the axles, CV joints, or the transmission, in addition to what might be going on in the engine. If it happens while the car is stationary, it is more likely the engine. Knocking sounds in the engine are generally from worn connecting rod bearings. Higher-pitched rapid ticking sounds, contrary to what you read here, are generally valve train noises, such as the camshaft lobes. A 1996 Neon probably has over 100,000 miles on it, which makes it a candidate for worn out everything, but knocking is pretty specific to rod bearings. If you intend on keeping the car, you may want to use thicker oil and put some Lucas oil conditioner in it, as it thickens the oil and quiets down the knocking. It also clings better, and stays up in the bearings instead of draining into the oil pan so you don't have dry startups. Bear in mind that this is not a fix, just a band-aid that will get you some extra miles. I have a 98 Neon with 105,000 miles, and I had an 85 LTD that died at 220,000 miles. The LTD benefited greatly from the Lucas product, and it had the same knocking issue you do.
